Tune in for episodes like “Learning How to Learn”, “What It’s Like to Be a Psychopath”, and finding “Spectacular Ability in a Sea of Disability”.

4.) HAPPIER, by Gretchen Rubin iTunes – Gretchen Rubin is the bestselling author of The Happiness Project and Better Than Before.  These podcasts will make you think about happiness, good habits, while offering practical advice.

3.) THE HIDDEN BRAIN, by Shankar Vedantam iTunes – an NPR special, helping people understand the world and themselves by revealing the unconscious patterns that drive human behavior and ripple into patterns of choices, relationships, and health.

2.) MAGIC LESSONS, by Elizabeth Gilbert iTunes – Bestselling author of Eat Pray Love and Magic Lessons, Elizabeth Gilbert, offers aspiring artists avenues to overcome fear that creates obstacles in creativity.  This podcast is fun and inspiring no matter if you consider yourself an artists or not.

TARA BRACH, by Tara Brach iTunes – this is one of my favorite go-to-weekly podcasts.  Tara Brach is a psychologist, western teacher of Buddhism (mindfulness) meditation, and author of Radical Acceptance and True Refuge.  Tara shares her wisdom of mindfulness practices and how these practices affect the brain, behavior, and relationships to oneself and others.  Tune in for episodes on Anger, Loving and Loosing , Addiction and Attachment, and Radical Compassion
